WELCOME TO LYMPSTONE ABC
ABOUT US

Lympstone Amateur Boxing Club was opened in 1968, by founder Neil Parsons.
Neil won a BBC unsung hero award in 2012 for his commitment to the club, helping over 2.000 youngsters in his 44 years as a volunteer.
The demand increased and he secured funding to meet the growth of the club.

Sited in Harding Hall, on the parade in the seaside town of Exmouth. Devon, the club success continues to grow and the reputation for its standard of boxer, is widespread.

The club enjoys a strong link to neighbouring Royal Marines, who make up a considerable portion of the committee and coaching team.
The Royal Marines own boxing team trains regularly with us on our senior squad nights

In 2021 the Exeter Chiefs formed an affiliation with LABC and funded an extension to the premises, enabling a full size competition ring on the upper floor and 2 sparring rings on the ground floor, with extended floor space to train.
More facilities are currently ongoing.

The club hosts 2 annual shows at the Exmouth Pavilion in May and October, and also the Exmouth Railway Club in January.
More home shows are gradually being added in what is becoming a great period of growth since the lifting of covid restrictions.

You can also see the club training outdoors on the beach in the summer months.
